Matthew: The Teachings of Jesus
This study of the Gospel of Matthew centers on Jesus’ teachings. In more detail than the other Gospels, Matthew connects Jesus’ story and teachings to the Hebrew Scripture he received. Matthew shares Jesus’ teachings with the intention of helping Christ-followers live the kingdom of heaven in their communities. These teachings are not easy, but they call us to humbly follow Christ through active love for our neighbors.
