The God of Love and Justice
The Illuminate Study Guide is a packet inluding a copy of the Illuminate booklet for study participants and a four-page leaflet of supplemental material for each lesson. Study goals, discussion questions, and lesson application along with the supplemental commentary provide useful tools for the study leader.
The twelve Minor Prophets span a period of hundreds of years in the history of Israel but they all reveal to us "the God of love and justice"- the God who loves his chosen people with an everlasting love but who also levies severe judgement against the sins of idolatry, materialism, flagrant disobedience, and rampant injustice in the land. While only seven of the Minor Prophets are represented in this study, you will find that the chosen texts are full of contemporary applications.
