Practical Christian Living
The Illuminate Study Guide is a packet inluding a copy of the Illuminate booklet for study participants and a four-page leaflet of supplemental material for each lesson. Study goals, discussion questions, and lesson application along with the supplemental commentary provide useful tools for the study leader.
Even though Martin Luther didn't think the book of James belonged in the Bible (he called ith a "right strawy epistle" and rejected what James said about faith and works), most Christians have found both James and 1 Peter to be a great help for the Christian life. In selecting the passages for this study we have used the theme of "Practical Christian Living" to look for down-to-earth teaching on as many different aspects of the Christian life as possible.
