The Illuminate Study Guide is a packet inluding a copy of the Illuminate booklet for study participants and a four-page leaflet of supplemental material for each lesson. Study goals, discussion questions, and lesson application along with the supplemental commentary provide useful tools for the study leader.

For good reason perhaps no New Testament epistles are studied and treasured more than the books Ephesians, Philippians and Colossians. Not only are these letters a rich source for practical Christian living but they also seem to carry a common exhortation that says to us, "Claim your inheritance! Take advantage of all the resources that are yours in Christ!" In this study students are encouraged to work at comprehending all that Christ has done for us as part of God's master plan, and then to lay hold of the spiritual resources that Christ has for us to live victoriously in relationship with God and with one another. Unfortunately, due to the brevity of this study, much of Paul's own testimony has been omitted, along with a good portion of his ethical teaching.
